A nonpartisan forum for the public featuring candidates for two seats in District of the Arizona State Legislature. Come to hear their views and get answers to YOUR questions.
Tuesday, July 27, 2010	6:00-9:00 pm	Yavapai College, Verde Campus Rm. 137, BLDG M 601 Black Hills Drive Clarkdale, AZ	Candidates Forum - U.S. Congressional District 1. A nonpartisan forum for the public featuring candidates for Congressional District 1. All nine candidates have been invited. Please come to hear their views and to get answers to YOUR questions.
Tuesday, August 24, 2010	6:00am-7:00pm	Your local polling place on election day or by early ballot. Last day to request an early ballot is August 13th.	Primary Election.
Thursday, September 16, 2010	1:00-3:00 p.m.	Oak Creek Valley Clubhouse Cornville, AZ	Meeting of LWVSVV Board of Directors. Board meetings are scheduled for the third Thursdays in September, October, and November. All members are invited to attend. There is an open forum for those who would like to address the board. Call Judy Miller for directions and to confirm the date/time of the meeting.
Sunday, September 19, 2010-Saturday, September 25, 2010		Verde Valley Communities	Constitution Week - Voter Registration. The League will be registering voters prior to the fall general election. Members please call Evie Rowland if you would like to volunteer to help. Details to follow.
Thursday, October 21, 2010	1:00-3:00 p.m.	Oak Creek Valley Clubhouse Cornville, AZ	Regular Meeting of the LWVSVV Board of Directors. Members of the League and anyone wanting to learn more about us before joining are welcome to attend Board meetings. Call Judy Miller for directions and to confirm the date and time.
Tuesday, November 2, 2010	6:00am-7:00pm	At your polling place or by early ballot. The last day to request an early ballot for the General Election is October 22nd.	General Election.
Thursday, November 18, 2010	1:00-3:00 p.m.	Oak Creek Valley Clubhouse Cornville, AZ	Regular Meeting of the LWVSVV Board of Directors. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend Board meetings, as is anyone who may be considering joining the League and wants to learn more about us.
